Tour of Bright Teams – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Tour of Bright Teams platform. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Tour of Bright Teams registration system and your participation in the Tour of Bright event as a team member. By using this platform and registering for the event, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Definitions

In these Terms:

"We", "us", "our" refers to Alpine Cycling Club, the organisers of the Tour of Bright.

"You", "your" refers to the individual registering for or participating in the Tour of Bright.

"Platform" refers to the Tour of Bright Teams registration system.

"Event" refers to the Tour of Bright cycling event.

"Technology Provider" refers to 5ringsprotocol (FRPV3), who provide and operate the platform but are not the event organiser.

3. Registration and Eligibility

3.1. All participants must hold a valid AusCycling licence at the time of the event.
3.2. Teams must consist of no more than 6 riders.
3.3. Grade Teams must have all riders in the same grade category.
3.4. Open Teams may include riders from different grades.
3.5. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
3.6. Registration is not complete until payment is received and confirmed via EntryBoss.
3.7. You must first have entered the Tour of Bright via EntryBoss before creating or joining a team.

4. Data Use and Privacy

4.1. By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for event organisation purposes.
4.2. Your information may be shared with:

  • Alpine Cycling Club for event management
  • AusCycling for licence verification
  • Cuore Australia (official kit provider) for team kit orders
  • Emergency services in case of incident

4.3. Your name and team information will be displayed publicly on the event roster.
4.4. We may use photographs and videos from the event for promotional purposes.
4.5. Sponsor Contact Consent: By checking the consent box during registration, you agree that Cuore Australia and other event sponsors may contact you with promotional information.

5. Event Participation

5.1. You must follow all event rules and regulations.
5.2. You must follow all road rules and safety instructions during the event.
5.3. The organisers reserve the right to modify the format, route, or schedule due to safety concerns.
5.4. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove participants for safety or conduct reasons.

6. Liability and Risk

6.1. Cycling involves inherent risks. You participate at your own risk.
6.2. You must ensure you are physically capable of participating in the event.
6.3. The event organisers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage except where caused by negligence.
6.4. You are responsible for ensuring your equipment is in good working order.
6.5. The Technology Provider (5ringsprotocol / FRPV3) provides the platform "as is" and accepts no liability for any technical errors, outages, or data loss.

7. Sponsor Acknowledgment

7.1. By participating, you acknowledge Cuore Australia as the official team kit provider for the Tour of Bright.
7.2. Team kit orders must be placed through official channels provided by the organisers.

8. Changes to Terms

8.1. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the platform.
8.2. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
